screw all this abstract nonsense, I want to discuss something real with myself:

How much of a servant do I truly allow myself to be?

I think tomorrow I am going to make a meal and find a homeless person and give it to them. And maybe just maybe I will force myself out of this box I have created… and actually get to know someone that I claim to desire to show compassion, rather than just accepting their thanks and patting myself on the back. If we do things for our own vain glory, then we are not accomplishing the goal. This lost and dying nation has had its fill of people that speak about love and compassion; what they need is for someone to accept the call that God has given all of us and step out of our comfort zones in faith and accept the challenge of servanthood.

It is time for me (with God’s guidance and grace) to turn Life with a Purpose into more than a simple facebook page and into a movement that actually does more than talk about love and compassion.

Dear God grant me strength.

Calling out to the emptiness this room encapsulates, sullied and broken on a Saturday night.

I have been having issue as of late with the idea that I will never truly know anyone. Are we all jaded to the point that we act unconsciously; misshapen to the brink of uncompleted relationships?

If we are truly honest with ourselves, we can come to the conclusion that we are all self-medicated. Searching for something that we can prescribe to ourselves; something to help us cope, help us feel okay with who we are and who we are letting ourselves become.

Transparency (at least to the point of being vulnerable) brings with it the painful realization that sometimes, in those early hours of dawn, we don’t recognize the image we have set up for ourselves in our aesthetics.

I understand the security implications, but rest assured wordpress there are plenty of other 0-days I am sure you have yet to secure. We all know the only reason that last scripting incident came back to bite you, is because you have so many users that dont realize the consequences of their actions.
